Venue Hire

Our ballroom at Eccles Town Hall has a maximum capacity of 210 when set out theatre style, no tables. We can accommodate an audience of 130 cabaret style without a dance floor and 100 cabaret style with a dance floor. We have a fully licensed bar located in a good sized room off the ballroom.

Our hall is typically used for concerts, theatrical and choral productions, meetings, lectures, art displays, and dances.

Unfortunately we currently do not have the capacity to take bookings for weddings, christenings or parties.

To enquire about hiring the ballroom, please email with the following information (many apologies as our official form is not working !)

Start and End Times (Please allow for set-up and clear-up time)
Expected Number of attendees.

Catering Requirements:
(a) no catering required – we understand hirers cannot bring their own food and drinks.
(b) We plan to use one of ECHO’s preferred caterers and will supply details once our booking is confirmed.
(c) We plan to use a professional caterer and will supply details once our booking is confirmed.

Catering Options

We charge 50p per head if you wish to use a caterer at your event. If you use one of our preferred caterers listed below we will reduce that charge to 40p per head. We do not allow hirers to bring their own food and drink onto our premises.


Please note: Whilst ECHO recommends caterers, you are required to enter into a booking with them directly and independently of ECHO. ECHO is not responsible for the details of those agreements.
