Venue Hire

Our main area (ballroom + café) at Eccles Town Hall has a maximum capacity of 220 when set out theatre style with no tables (however, this number must include all performers and ECHO volunteers staffing the event). In addition, there are 60 seats available in the balcony area with certain restrictions: no unsupervised under-14s, no food or drink, and there is no disabled access.

The ballroom area can accommodate an audience of 130 cabaret style without a dance floor and 100 cabaret style with a dance floor.  Disabled access.

We have a fully licensed bar located in a good sized room off the ballroom.

Our hall is typically used for concerts, theatrical and choral productions, meetings, lectures, art displays, and dances.

Unfortunately we currently do not have the capacity to take bookings for weddings, christenings or parties.

Catering Options

We charge 50p per head if you wish to use a caterer at your event. If you use one of our preferred caterers listed below we will reduce that charge to 40p per head. We do not allow hirers to bring their own food and drink onto our premises.

Please note: Whilst ECHO recommends caterers, you are required to enter into a booking with them directly and independently of ECHO. ECHO is not responsible for the details of those agreements.
