Hello supporters,
WELCOME TO OUR JUNE NEWSLETTER FROM ECCLES TOWN HALL
The Team at ECHO sincerely hope that you are all well and coping with the lockdown.
As you will have realised, there have been no Events on at the Hall since lockdown started, and we do not expect to be getting back into our usual routine for some time.
However, there is some good news: just before lockdown started we did manage to complete our project of installing 60 new seats in the balcony area, which we had been saving up for, and below are some 'before and after' pictures for you to look at. Let's hope it's not too long before you can enjoy sitting up there for a concert!
As would be expected, our external notice board outside is pretty empty. As we are unable to hold exhibitions within the Hall, we have taken the opportunity to put a small exhibition in our external board. There are some photos of old transport in Eccles for your perusal: these were originally on display in the Hall during last year's Eccles Festival. The plan is to change the photos monthly, as we have a plentiful supply. Do come along and have a look at them when you're in the town centre.
As so many of us are now shopping online, it's worth drawing attention to the Easyfundraising scheme, which means that many online retailers will donate a small percentage of the purchase price of goods towards a charity which you nominate. This is at no expense to yourself. See the poster at the end of the Newsletter for details!
Meanwhile stay safe and well,
With Best Wishes,
ECHO TRUSTEES
