Echo June 2017 Newsletter
Welcome to our second newsletter, which we hope will keep you informed with what is happening at Eccles Town Hall. Well here we are in the middle of the year and what a lot has happened since January.
Since the previous newsletter we have hosted a café with art show and Eccles Community Choir concert, and in May Lymm concert band who were tremendous, café with our first craft fair which was great, and Forever friends evening by the Salford Royal Chaplaincy, and The annual Scottish dance evening. The Health improvement team held a successful event entitled ‘Dying matters’ as an afternoon tea dance.
The new lights are fitted and fully working both in the ballroom and on the stage and they are receiving boundless wonderful compliments.
Well, we haven’t finished yet, the stage is due a facelift with the back walls and the cladding in the front being upgraded. We also need a few more tables when we hold events such as craft fairs. The loop system is still under investigation watch this space, and listen of course!
